I have a 1970 Challenger with VIN# in place but no body tag. Is there some place to get production records from the vin#?

Contact Galen Govier - he is THE guru for Mopar serial numbers and tags. He can make you new tags if you can demonstrate they are correct for your car.

Each number and letter on the vin# tells you all about the car. give the vin# to the parts department and can tell you what each one represents

You can write to: DaimlerChrysler, 1000 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, MI 48326-2766 I think they charge you anywhere from $50 to $85.

THERE ARE TWO BODY TAGS IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT ONE ON DRIVERS SIDE FENDER, ONE ON FIRE WALL.THERE IS ALSO ONE IN GLOVE COMPARTMENT. KNOW THERE IS MORE BUT WILL HAVE TO LOOK. HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT FOR THE CAR???
