Step With Reason

When that final breath lets out,
and all reality starts to fade away,
in place all reason comes together:
an answer to every question,
an explanation for every puzzled look...
a forgiveness for all that was lost
an understanding for all that was won
and the realization
that no step was made
without a reason

Do you think it's any good? Any suggestions for my writing?

I love it...simply because that's what i think about life in general

Everything happens for a reason and everything has been preplanned: you should name this beautiful poem DESTINY

I like it! It was a pleasant suprise. From the first line of your question, I expected some anti public school screed.

You mention "understanding for all that was won" and this raises the question about what was lost. You might want to think about adding this. But I am no critic, not even an English major, and this is a nice poem to me.

The content is good, but the meter seems to be haphazard.

keep your dreams and your hopes and your wishes alive in your heart because without them we are nothing, keep writing what you write, it is good
