i extremely would have fashionable it if Gerrard wore the captains armband yet Terry is a good captain for England you could not deny that. McClaren stated "choosing a captain is between the biggest judgements a coach has to make. I’m particular I’ve were given the right guy in John Terry. I’m confident he will teach to be between the great captains England has ever had."

It is better that he Picked Terry as Captain than Gerrard. Steven Gerrard already has plenty pressure on his shoulders at LFC and we all know that LFC are taking the League Title this year and Mclaren also wants LFC to dethrone Chelski. Liverpool will win the league cause Terry will have too much pressure on his plate now that he is the England Captain. I think Mclaren will do a Decent job as coach & Terry will be a good England Captain but he will forget about his Duties at Chelski and they will suffer because of it.

the manager picks whoever is best for the team....he thinks terry is the best and that's why he picked him
i still would have prefered Gerrard as captain..but he chose terry

i think terry will be a good captain for the england team...it was either him or gerrard...so, i'm fine with mcclaren's decision.

no doubt he's the new captain. i was hoping Steven Gerrard will be the next one. great leadership quality as shown during the league match with Chelsea.
