I live in WA state and need to send a letter to United Kingdom. How many stamps do I need?

It depends on the weight of the letter - and the value of the stamps you use! For a letter weighing not more than one ounce, you need 84 cents in postage - it doesn't matter how many stamps you put on it, as long as the total value is at least 84 cents. If the letter weighs between one and two ounces, the rate is $1.65. This same rate, by the way, is for any country in the world except North American countries.

The post office will weigh the envelop and put the proper postage. I think it about 90 cents, but, with prices going up all the time it hard to say for sure.

put proper postage otherwise it will return to you back check with ur own post office
