the question of supplying arm to hizbullah is not worth consideration of world super power israel but here main consideration is how to entangle iran and syria and faciliate the war on these two countries.if israel wanted peace in lebnan then why it asked syria to vacate lebnan?.see what are design behind that iran and syria wanted to stop israel without open war with israel and israel wanted entangel of syria and iran to excuse for further war.

I think the question should be why is the UN not proactive and does not intervene before events go as far as they did. Is Hezbollah was firing rockets and Lebanon doing nothing about it, then someone has to try and stop it, which ends up being Israel. If the UN had a security force than they could have put it on the ground. The result would have been the stopping of the Hezbollah attacks and Israel would not have taken the heat in the Arab world and elsewhere for their attack.

Let's allow China to reinforce Israel!?
You would have no problem with that?!
The movement of Hezbollah is one of NAZI SOCIALISTS that came out of the 1930's movement led by Adolf Hitler.
The play book is the same old Mein Kampf. The techniques are the same ones used against Austria, Poland, the Baltic states, France, Brittain.
Attack another country, then try to invade it and claim the entire time that you are only defending some ages old claims, that actually are fabricated as an excuse to torture, rape, pillage, and murder a population.
Give Lebanon back to the Lebanese! Iran, Syria, and Jordan are evil dictatorships that have invaded a free nation.

Look who controls the strings (if not literally then at least psychologically) of the legitimate Lebanese Gov't...its Hezbollah. And Hezbollah wants those guns in Lebanon to help facilitate some future stupid war with Israel. So technically the Lebanese Gov't by way of Hezbollah wants those guns there which is why they arent protesting.
Its almost like the Cuban Missile Crisis...a poor country (Lebanon) has become the battleground in some larger war between powerful yet distant (geographically and ideologically) nations...namely Israel and Syria/Iran.
(additional stuff)
mhimler...you are the reason why we have to fight terrorists...before they turn more people into unthinking fools like yourself...

Lebanon doesn't care about Israel and wants to see Hezbollah destroy Israel. The same is true with most other countries in that region. They refuse to even acknowledge Irael's right to exist. Of course they are supplying Hezbollah, as well as other terrorist groups like Hamas and Al-Qaida. Israel has the right to fight back, and if the Lebanese people want to support Hezbollah with their indifference than none are innocent of the war, they have blood on their hands too.

Maybe the fact that thousands of those missles were fired into Israel by Hezbollah and the Lebanon government did nothing about it because Hezbollah is a part of the government now.

"The bloody nose Israel received in south Lebanon has not shaken its leaders’ confidence in their restless militarism. If anything, their humiliation has given them cause to pursue their adventures more vigorously in an attempt to reassert the myth of Israeli invincibility, to distract domestic attention from Israel’s defeat at the hands of Hizbullah, and to prove the Israeli army’s continuing usefulness to its generous American benefactor."
"Despite its comeuppance in Lebanon, Israel is not planning to reconfigure its relationship with its neighbours. It is not seeking a new Middle East in which it will have to endure the same birth pangs as the “Arabs”. It does not want to engage in a peace process that might force it to restore, in more than appearance, the occupied territories to the Palestinians. Instead it is preparing for more asymmetrical warfare -- aerial bombardments of the kind so beloved by American arms manufacturers."
You ask "Who gave Israel that right?" Who gave the Israel the right to:
Demolish Palestinian land for Jew-only highways.
Bomb its neighbours and answer to no one.
Use our tax money to deny basic civil liberties to Palestinians and to commit ethnic cleansing and cultural genocide in Palestine and the Middle East.
To be the only state in the Middle East not open to Weapons inspections.
To be the only state in the Middle East suspected of having "The bomb".
The list goes on .....

Israel has the right to do anything to protect itself from the rockets killing it's people that are shot from Lebanon. Those rockets being fired from Lebanon are an act of war! The government of Lebanon has and will do nothing to stop Hesballah.

as long as the hizbolla pose a thereat to Israel,Israel has all the right in the world.hizbolla are the same as al-qaida, they are terrorists, so if the world wants to fight the terrorism, the world has to help Israel to wipe off hizbolla. don't you understand, islam terrorists don't have a problem with only Israel, they have a problem with all western civilization, and if they defeat Israel - you are next in the line.

Didnt you know that the israelis think they can do exactly what Bin Laden does except insteasd of westerners, arabs. Israel made the excuse that they are only attacking lebanon to remove hizballahs missile capabilities before they were even used. Hizballah even softened their attacks on israel when israel softened their attacks.
