the yellow comes out strong but dark colours dont print good.

ive done everything in the maintenence tool box i.e cleaned nozzles and aligned , but still not getting any blue colour only light colour , it is a new printer.

with the current cost of good quality color printers, you can buy a good quality HP or other brand printer for little more than the cost od a new color cartridge for your old printer! Consider junking your old one and getting a new printer. I just got a New HP, printer/scanner/copy and fax machine for $41.00 at walmart (USA)

Sounds as though you need new color cartridge. If that doesn't work take the printer for service because the lines between the cartridge and printer may not be lining up the right way or may be clogged.

run the printer maintence program like aligning the cartridge etc, then, make sure in print options you have best selected not draft or normal.

Toss it out and buy an HP DeskJet.
