Its not courage .
Courage is to stand up and face the reason you are contemplating ending your life and not doing it .
There are people out there who are termanilly ill fighting for there lives and you get someone that thinks oh well my life aint worth jack ill end it!
Thats crap everything ends up ok ive had family die through tragic circumstances ive been through pretty rough times but hey in the end it turns out ok.
So to any one out there contemplating suicide it dosent take guts its taking the easy way out stand up to your problems tell a friend .
There are people out there to help you no matter the problem we all do really care but only if you want to be cared for.
God bless Honestly i care.

It takes courage to overcome suicide.
Despair is a major cause and the feeling that no one in this whole world cares whether you live or die.
Suicide in this case is simple. The Courage is to overcome this and reverse the shutdown period caused due to suicidal tendancies.
Been there and came through it due to one simple phone call from a person that I didnt even know.
Long Story and too long to relate here.
Always seek advice from independant person, perferrably councillors that know where you are coming from.
It is the family that suffers not the people you really want to get at. They dont give a **** about you.
But there are many others outside your family that do care and just need to be noticed or spoken with.
Love to live and Live to Love... It works

It's easy to judge another person who has committed suicide and label them as cowards etc but who would ever thought they might ended up in that stage of life? Thus while we have what we got at present we should not take things for granted, instead to cherish what we have and being kind to others, our gentle words may sooth the hurting heart which may seek suicide as last way out when their problem is bigger than they can handle.

I don't think it is courage or cowardism. I think it is a sad situation, but if that person is suffering emotionally and physically, I can kind of see why they would do that. I am sorry if it is selfish, but you need to take care of and do what's best for yourself first. Maybe that's what those people thought was best for them, but I think people who call those that committ suicide cowards have no idea what that person went through. So therefore, they are ignorant in that matter.

There's no courage about it. It's a flight response, giving up. Suicide is one of the most selfish things anyone can do. You leave people who love you wondering for the rest of their lives whether they could've done anything, whether they could have been better. Suicide isn't courage, it's cowardice.

It's not courage. Rather the feeling of guilt, the urge of too much drugs, or becuase its a better way to die than being bombed in Iraq.

suicide takes no courage at all. it takes courage to live through tough times, it takes courage to say no to people or events that make you feel suicidal. suicide is a very weak, very cruel thing to do.

Good question. If they have this courage to die, why not turn around to use the same courage to live?
People who choose such a path are egoistic individuals who are very stubborn. They are quiet and usually are nice and conforming.
