World Peace. All religions should lead to this, sadly most just lead to violence.

I don't have to preserve my religion as truth- I leave that up to God to preserve the truth.
World peace is a dream that will never happen. Maybe for short periods of time- but when man is in control- well we see the results.

Christ doesn't need me to 'preserve' His teachings as truth...and if mankind simply followed His 2 commandments, there would BE world peace...believers of other faiths would doubtless say the same thing about their beliefs, but the bottom line is, you'll never achieve world peace by tearing down 'religion'...people tend to act in their own interests, and those interests inevitably collide, causing conflict on a personal level...the same is true for groups of people, from the local to the international level...

***what is more important to you, religion,?
world peace or preserving your religion as truth***

That is a thought provoking question,Thanks

To me humanity and a peaceful existence should be much more important than religion
,however for most folks it is not.

Far is it from my thoughts to tear down or eliminate faith or religion. I believe that a thorough immersion in the major and minor
religions will do more good them eliminating
them individually entirely.

neither are achievable, there will never be world peace by preserving religion as truth, religion is a destruction value in the system we live in, world peace is not a system value at all.

To be honest with you religion is just a word that covers many faiths, true and false. My own experience proves to me that you have to turn your life over to Jesus Christ and He will be the centre of your life, everything else you care about will fall into place afterwards.

I am, of course talking about becoming a Born-Again-Christian, when you do that, you will find the answer to life itself. Jesus Christ came to save us from all wrongdoing and has given us the opportunity to be given Eternal Life. Now that...... I would make as your top priority! I speak from personal experiences in my own life and what I have seen in others who have asked Christ into their lives.

People will mock you, but God will always be there for you, so it takes a brave person to commit His life to the Lord Jesus. His Holy spirit will be your guide. I served in the army, so I don't like anyone to think i am just a Church-goer, I may be the worst example of a Christian, but I know God is guiding me.There are many who go to Church and don't know that Jesus is their Saviour, believe it or not.

Yes, I go to Church and have many Christian friends. Sometimes I feel disheartened at other people who claim to be Christians, but then, who am I to Judge, only God can do that. The most important thing is You and you're relationship with God.

As for myself I have many interests, such as Sports, British History, Astronomy, Animals, Reading, Walking my 2 rescue Greyhounds, Writing Stories, I love my family and love travelling. However the most important part of my life, is my life with Christ.

Put your trust in Him, read the scriptures, Christian literature or contact true born-again-Christians. God will reveal Himself to you and when He returns, their will be World Peace. When you die you will be with Him in Heaven for eternity. If you need a helpline, I will be glad to offer any assistance. You only need to ask.
