Not exactly what I would call a balanced diet, but both the bananas and the peanut butter are pretty good for you. Don't deep fry it, though, it only adds nasty fats.
Try adding some lettuce and tomato as well as some other fruits. Swede and sprouts should go well, too. Are you a veggie?
Okay, I'm teasing - the same way that you are.

I grilled a peanut butter and banana sandwich once. It was very tasty but the peanut butter sort of melted. I think that I'll try it again and just grill the bread with the banana and add the peanut butter after it comes out of the pan.

That's the diet I've been on for the last 16 years. Nothing wrong to report here, but I am now 4 foot wide and only 6 inches tall. Apart from that, all's well.

Press the slices gently mutually. melt the butter (or to be extremely Elvis-like, melt William Maxwell Aitken fat!), over low warmth in a small frying pan. position the sandwich contained in the pan and fry till golden brown on both facet. eat it with a tumbler of buttermilk. Please be conscious: Elvis tended to eat 12-15 sandwiches a sitting! So abdomen up!

No!
Unfortunately both the bread and peanuts are high in Carbohydrates. Carbohydrates turn into sugar, which turns into body fat...hence you would gain weight!
If your goal is to loose weight I wouldn't recommend this diet at all. I would stick to salads, meat, cheese, and dairy to keep your weight under control and also to shed a few pounds.

I am afraid the food group consist of more than that. Deep fried anything will kill you, so I guess unless you have been a bad boy you may get to go high.

Protein from the peanuts.
Carbs from the bread and banana.
Fats from the frying fat.
Sounds balanced enough to me.
