I don't know about any favorite hymn but I've learned to play...
Nothing but the blood
What a friend we have in Jesus

& Great is thy faithfulness
...on guitar from a hymnal the people at the Calvary Baptist Church in Redwood City gave to me where I go on Sunday evenings to help out with the praise before Bible study.
That's not the church I attend. I belong to a non-denominational church http://www.alcf.net , because the Bible says that there is only one church that is made up of all born again believers and over at CBC they recognize this truth as well so they are happy to have me stop in and fellowship with them.
