how do you explain allah's messenger having sex with a 9 year old girl? now listed here are some of the lame excuses my fellow muslims keep repeating in order to justify muhomed's pedophile lifestyle
1 it was the cutom in those days to marry off underaged girls to old men
2 most of the prophets slept with little girls, so why say mohomed did something out of the order/
3 mohomed married aicha to protect her
4 no one is sure if aicha was 9
these are all lame excuses and and can never be believed. come on muslims, give us a better answer, because infidels are laughing at islam, and do you know why?
they say that islam is the only religion today thats led by a man who was a pedophile and murderer . what a disgrace.

This is a big problem with islam. The real problem is that for Muslims to justify what prophet Muhammed has done, they are trying to convence people that marrying a 9-year old girl has nothing wrong!

I guess if it was an issue back then, there would have been outrage and there would be an explanation. God would certainly not allow an unfit man to be His messenger. Imperfect man, perhaps but if it was wrong at that time, there would be something done about it.
So I guess since it was not addressed then, can we not just trust that God knows what He's doing? We know that they married, but who's to say that they had marital relations? I don't know that prophets slept with girls. And if they did, and did not marry them first, then they would certainly be sinning wouldn't they?
If he married her to protect her, well isn't that just a nice thing to do? You may have to study the social situation of that day. I don't know all the details, but it was not a peaceful region then either.
So let the non-muslims laugh. They probably have people laughing at them too. You win hearts through conduct and peace. If they are making these comments about Islam, then their hearts are not for the religion, and you don't want them as your spiritual siblings anyway.
Let the non-muslim people say what they want to say. Muslims can decide to not play in that game.

He was married to her and only had sex with her when she hit puberty - in all respects a woman not a girl (also believed by many to be at 14 or 12 - no one is absolutely sure)
She was happy (she is one of the most influential muslims ever her legacy of stories of muhammed is one of the most improtant in Islam and she lived to an old age remembering him fondly) her father was happy the community was happy as they counted a person as being adult when reaching puberty.
Just because you arbitrarily think 16 or 18 or 21 is an age of consent does not mean your retrospective anlysis, one and a half millenia later, should carry any weight with anyone but you (remember life expectancy back then was not what it is now)
(what about a 16 yr old has not reached puberty - now would that be ok for you to have sex with them - not according to Islam - maybe ok to you though)

First off do you realize that was more than 1400 years ago? And do you realize that the Arabian peninsula is a very hot dry place?, it's basically a desert. Nine year old girls at that time and under such heat hit puberty at a very young age. A 9 year old girl back then wasn't looked at and didn't look like a 9 year old girl of the modern day. Hence, It was pretty normal. Remember that was 1400 years ago, different culture, different habits and so on. She wasn't the only 9 year old girl who was married back then.

Are you sure they are your fellow Muslims. But why throw with rocks when Christianity is sitting in the glasshouse? 0r haven't you heard about priests molesting children? Do we know he slept with her? Again Mohammed was a man, and customs were different in those times. Granted today he would be sitting in jail, but chances are Jesus would be sitting in a phsyc ward.
