yes, gambling in most forms are legal in nj...
just look at atlantic city...
there's texas hold 'em in ac. so why wouldn't a fund raiser be legal. just verify with town and county first if you're the one hosting the fund raiser. if not, be sure that the hosts did their propper checking out before they set up the whole thing.
