Because to the cat, it is not a "pizza"...
It is a feline heat generation bed, and the cat isn't done using it yet.
Wait till the pizza goes cold. I'll bet the cat will give it up then.

first of all why would you even let the cat near your pizza if its that big of a deal.
secondly dont feed it pizza! and then maybe it wont try to steal it!

because it's a cat and IT wants it's share of the pizza first! thenit'll let you have whats left, probably take pity on you because you don't know how to feed yourself and take you out to show you the finer points of hunting mice! duh!
