With my limited knowledge of Islam, I can say confidently that it is a very modern religion. Its birth was due to necessisity of the times and therefore it incorporated many practical things required for survival. Unfortunately even the smallest tenet, symbol or sayings associated with Islam has become so sacrosanct, that there is no tolerance in the followers of the faith. Anyone questioning or trying to offer suggestion is not tolerated. This fundamentalist attitude is bringing condemnation from all parts of the world. Also somehow misguided youths have come to the conclusion that any means is justified when it comes to the question of saving Islam-even killing innocent people or getting killed themselves in the process. That maybe the reason for this phenomenon.

Muslims do not cheat. They fight for their peace and freedom from all the non-muslims!! For example, look at how America had been treating Iraq!! Look at Lebanon and Israel.. Its terrible! Everyone has only been thinking negative views on Islam all because of the media.. And who controls all the media?? THE JEWS!!.. All the Muslims need to stand up and fight for their peace.. Our muslims countries are being taken over and attacked.. Do you expect muslims around the world to stay quiet while their brothers and sisters are in this state being killed and put through the harshest of things!!

There is a big difference between Islam and some muslims.Islam as a religion considers cheating a sin,a real muslim does not cheat.But you find some muslims who cheat and those are not real muslims.I think in all religions you find a certain number of people who do not follow exactly their religion teachings.

In fact the opposite is true - Muslims have to obey and respect the laws of the land in which they reside according to their religion

definately not in the Quran. Muslims, who practise Islam as a whole, will not succumb to cheat any one, any country. It is their selfishness.

You have misunderstood Islam. If a muslim cheats, he is no more a muslim. So he can never cheat anybody, so he can never cheat his motherland.
