I spilt cooking oil in my wife's kitchen. Major consequences for my environment, I can tell you.!
Decided to edit this as you probably want a serious answer !
Well, how about this. The worst oil spills are the ones that we tried to clean up (Exxon Valdez, etc). Leaving nature to it takes a few years, if we clean it up it does untold long term damage to the environment

I remember the Exxon/ Valdez spill. But I don't plan to list all of
the spills here for you. Look em' up in an Almanac.

well in 2006 i spilled some oil on my girlfriend while we were eating at the restaurent.too bad she went crazy on me

The one that stands out in my mind is the Valdez (sp?) oil spill. It's too bad they even happen.
