I wouldn't think that 1 year's difference in age would be the major factor here, at least with most parents. However, I could see them getting concerned with you dating when you're only 13. That would be a bigger concern to most parents than the fact the boy is only 12.
As for the people in your family accepting it, the only family members whose opinions you really need to consider are your parents. At 13, their word is essentially law. If they don't want you to date, or to date someone in particular, you have to abide by their rules. Might not be fun, but they are looking out for your best interests. The only thing you can really do is sit down & talk with them, & ask them if it truly is the age factor, or if they are just afraid to let you date. Maybe then, you can work out a compromise with them if they see you're willing to sit down & discuss it with them maturely, & accept their decision even if it isn't what you like. I wish I could help you more, but with the details provided, this is the most help I can offer.

Actualy it's not wrong, but most of the time it's not gonna work. a have the same experiment, I don't tell you what to do, because there are somethings in the world which must be touched and then descoverd. but when you find the truth just accept it. my idea is in this kind of relation boys need to feel they can support the girl, and girls need to feel if it is needed the boy can supoort them, boys are younger, usually non of them can never reach this feeling.

if you love the guy, then show to your family that you are willing and you love each other. if they still don't accept it, then face the truth, they just care of you cause you're too young to date and have a relationship. maybe when you go older, they won't tell you things you don't like anyomre.

That's only a one year difference... only you can know how right it feels, but remember, girls mature faster than boys (both physically AND emotionally) which is why most girls your age tend to date slightly older boys... and also, it's a family's JOB (esp. parents!) to disapprove of boyfriends... if you're lucky, this MAY stop when you celebrate your 25th wedding anniversary!
