What do you think of lavender, pink , blue or green in pastel shades?

I want to look pretty and feminine. Short dress to above knees or suit with ruffle at end of skirt. Please don't suggest white/offwhite/cream. lol

Any of these colors would be nice. What goes better with your skin tone? Here's my thoughts:
Pink-soft, delicate, especially baby pink, innocence
Lavender-very womanly, romantic, just a touch of spice but not overbearing
Blue-fairytale, fun loving
Green-earthy, motherely
What kind of mood do you want to say? If you want a little fun then pick a dress with a ruffle on the bottom of the skirt. If want to be serious a straight hem would be the one you should choose. Honey, the main thing is to pick something that you feel your most beautiful in, whether it's hot pink with purple dots! My daughter picked a dress that made her feel beautfiul and sexy. She said she need that extra bit of confidence.(she was a virgin when she married) So, put on some make-up and if you are going to wear hose at the wedding, put those one and grab a friend or two and go shopping.
Please it's important not to go shopping in shorts or jeans. You need to have some heels and your hair fixed a little. Because I know, I went shopping for my Mother of the bride dress in shorts, and couldn't find anything, I put on some make-up and hose, I felt better and everything looked nicer. Found my dress! with a ruffle on the bottom, because I wanted a little spice and sass. I may have been the Mother of the bride, I am not ready for the nursing home quite yet.......
Sorry for rambling, I just get so excited when someone is getting married, I want them to be so happy and have their very special day to be perfect. The bride needs to feel as beautiful on the inside and she does on the out!

I would deftinly stick with a lavender or pink...it looks more natural while completmenting your skin tone. Green and blue are too... unnatural looking, esp pastel. Hope this helps!

I would go with lavender or maybe trying periwinkle which is a mix between lavender and a pastel blue.( its a pretty color)

You should wear the color that YOU look best in. It doesn't even have to be pastel. Go try on some dresses and pick the one that you feel beautiful in, good luck.

Lavender is nice, baby pink is pretty, blue is cool, and green is great. The thing is which color goes best with you. I think...
Blue eyes maybe pink.
Brown eyes lavendar.
Grey eyes blue.
Red or auburn hair green.

I'd go with the lavender because it is most flattering to all skin tones *however* if pink looks really good on you, I'd pick the pink. Just my opinion. Good luck & many congratulations!

perhaps a combo of soft shades
