Well, do you think she views your relationship the same way you do? Is she happy to be your friend, does she initiate time spent together, or are you just around her because you are friends with her son even perhaps. I don't want to jump to any conclusions, so I will go with the other route that you are friends some other way.
Is she availiable in that way? Do you two have the type of relationship where you discuss her relationships?
If you feel comfortable doing so I suggest that you talk to her about it, mention you have been thinking lately that there might be something bigger between you two, and then go from there. Let her know you understand that there is a huge age difference, and that you realize there are alot of issues that can come because of it, but that you would like to try it out, if she is interested as well.

U gotta b careful cuz altho u realli like her she's gotta consider her son's feelins! i reckon if u genuinly hav feelins 4 her tht aren't cumin frm inbetween ur legs u shud tell her & c wot her reaction is bt mayb u shud luk elsewher 1st like meetin sum nu women & seein if ne of them take ur mind off her. Altho while u r friends u r both unaware of the age gap wen u involve her son it mite bcum mor of an issue. Im a firm believer in age not mattering bt wen kids r involved it can bcum slightly mor of an issue bcuz in ur case the kid cud feel resentful of u!!!!

This really depends how old you are. If you're under 21, you need to think carefully. You would be at a vulnerable age. If you're under 18, I'd talk to your parents. If you're under 16, I'd talk to the police!
If you are an adult and you can handle it, good luck and enjoy.

Hi, age doesn't matter, if your happy and shes happy and her son is comfy with it all. Go for it, tell her how you feel, she'll probably be over the moon, and very flattered, if a man half my age told me that I would be more than delighted....

think carefully whether you are looking for a girlfriend or a moter figure.
Tell her your feelings, but prepare yourself for dissapointment.
Personally, being a mother - i couldnt imagine having a relationship with anyone my childrens age no matter how old you may be, it would just feel wrong.
Sorry Geeza

Nobody can answer that question but you. Perhaps you need to step back and review the situation.
