I use nero to burn vcd's. I use winAVI to convert files. please answer my question. I have 'inside man' in AVI format. it's 700mb and 2hrs 8mins long. If i was to burn it would it all fit on one vcd?

yes as long as the cd is more than 700 mb
or......compress it first..zip file

Sorry. VCD(Video CD) holds a lot less than a DVD. You need to convert the "Inside Man" movie to MPEG-2 format by a software and you need a DVD burner.

So, in short, ditch the VCD and go for the DVD instead.

Unlikely - VCDs have a filesize of 10 MB per minute of video. 1 disc can hold upto 74 mins of video. u need 2 discs to do it. SVCD is definitely out of the question

first you cann't put 2hrs on vcd (80 minuts) but you can make them on data cd
secoud nero do convert te vedio if you are chosing vcd but it convert it from avi to dat

it will just fit on cd but wont play on your dvd player
use 2 discs for svcd

dont know try it, if you have dvdrw just make dvd, I converted couple movies in the past they all work great
