Why are you asking so many questions about HCR? There are recruiting offices for questions like these. The Household Cavalry is a Formation Reconnaissance Regiment, we have light armoured tanks, CVRT's. They are light and fast. A little out dated but they have just been Bowmanised which helps with providing up to date information of the battle space. There is of course the Ceremonial side of the Regiment, which to be honest comes in handy when you have been away year after year and want a break in operations. There are other Guards Regiments if you like it on your feet!! You want anymore info feel free to email me.

Listen mate you have to be switched on mate . I ain't talking about just bulling your boots and 'aving a laugh with your mates in the naffi bar , i mean it is more than that. If you want to join up then you 'ave to give your life up for the lads . Also, you have to get naked a few times and after any conflicts , you have to come out and realise that no one gives a **** or cares about what you went through , apart from your family or other guys in the military. Then after all that trauma , you will spend the rest of your life, working as a security guard on a minimum wage . Why not value yourself , start your own business or make money ? Why put yourself at the mercy of a spoilt, self serving egomaniac who is more interested in his own career advancement . Talk to Men who have completed active service and look at statistics of what happens to men who leave the army , in terms of jobs , money and housing . Don't believe the bullshit and certainly don't believe the officers . Make money. P.S anyone with a user name called 'kill' should be the last one to tell others to 'grow up', fucknut

The spelling is troublesome.I wasn't sure what you meant till I looked at some of the replies. However...
My father was in the cavalry when they used horses, but I don't think he fought in any battles and such because it was between WW1 and WW2.
My father just loved horses as far as that went. I know he was a coward because he used to beat my mother. Really!
