Wow, Please read some more of your history.
Do you think women were treated better by the greeks and romans?
Did they not have slaves?
Did you know that the crusades were defence-wars aganst muslem agression?
Do you think you would be better off under Aztec rule?
These things are not true they are prejudices.

How come you are so into myths created in the 70 ties. They are even proved false in French court.
So I'll leave you to your superstitions. Thanks

Why do you insist on dividing things into Christian and non-Christians? Stop and figure out why, when Jesus said to love EVERY man, such a division has been made.
Most people are fine with any group until that group begins to act aggressively towards them. This isn't a question of religion; this is social anthropology.

HOLY COW ANDREW W JUST PROVED MY POINT!..LOL..
Well this is a war that's been going on for eons..Christianity is a new religion.. if that comment ticks you off oh well.. its true.. If you want the real story read "holy blood holy grail, bloodlines of the holy grail, genesis of the grail kings and pagan Europe.. NON verses PRO is an unending battle.. Christians have a bloody murderous history..They have a long standing reputation for killing what they cannot convert..NOT all of them are like this, but you know what they say.. A few bad apples can spoil the barrel..It is true of any belief system..If you actually read up on my religion Witchcraft, Wicca or what ever you want to cal it.. you would find many parallels between it and Christianity.. WHY? MOST of christian beliefs and practices are deeply rooted in paganism.. Even Christmas.. Before they claimed it as the birth of christ..IT was and still is Altan..The rebirth of the god and goddess.. interesting isn't it?.. If Christianity is what you need? Blessed be.. But don't expect every one to agree with you based on mob rule..Now more than ever forensic science if proving what is true and what isn't..

Study your history. From the time of the latter part of the 2nd century till now, most of the wars are done in the name of God. This is not an personnal observation it is fact. That is way there are so many christian religions. This country was founded on the freedom of religion, and what did we do, we try to convert the indians and if they didn't we either made them slaves or killed them. Who is being judgemental?

Usually because some bible banger has asked your same question! You want to believe in a book that was written by some blathering stone aged idiots 2000 years ago its your choice! Just dont rub it in others faces and keep it to yourself! Maybe you need to read up on Christianity and some of the atrocities they performed against non believers! Nothing less than killing, maming, and torturing folks because they believed in something else! I also am a believer in the ALLMIGHTY as Enigma does but Nowhere does it say he wrote the Bible! I have also seen tons of proof of evolution but have yet to see a Christian show me the so called proof of creation! As far as I am concerned if God wanted to take his sweet time and create us by using evolution then so be it! Its time for you thumpers to lift yourselves out of the dark ages!

Could it be because, in the last 1000 or so years, that Christians have been the cause of most of the world's major problems, like religious crusades, colonialism, slavery, oppression of women, racism and so much more? Could it be because Christians are always pestering other people to accept their superstitions? Could it be because Christians are always trying to kick science/biology/evolution out of the public schools? Could it be because Christians want to put their religious icons in public buildings?
Duh!

It goes both ways. Personally I don't care what another person chooses to believe.. everyone has the right to do so. However, you have no idea how many christians have told me I'm wrong and judge me. If they feel they are so far above reproach that they can do that well, I believe their faith says something on judgment that perhaps they should pay attention to.

I am a Christian, but I understand how non-christians get annoyed by people shoving God down their throats. Respect people, arguing with them about why they need to be saved isn't going to make them suddenly believe they need God in their lives.

My guess is yahoo questions baiting. It seems like people from both sides are on edge when the questions are asked. I myself believe in God but no religion... so I have no idea where that puts me, but that is simply my view and that's it... I don't try to force it on anyone and if someone tries to force theirs on me... well, it depends on how strong they come at me...

Because christians always talk about christian things. God this, Jesus that....shut the f*ck up. Nobody cares about that. Save it for church and quit constantly trying to recruit.
