It really depends on what's your interest and preference:

Asia might provide you a cultural exchanging experience. Most countries come with thousand of years of history and amazing stories to tell at everywhere you go. Although flight tix might be expensive, but exchange rate might be good to reduce other traveling expenses.

Europe and America are equally colourful as well. But it might be too close from home for you if you are from the same region,to give you an out-of-the-country feel. If you are not, traveling expenses might be too hefty. But if you can afford it, the experience and historical sites could just bring you into another dimension of experience.

Apart from all these,I would like to recommend Thailand,Vietnam and Cambodia in Asia. No matter where u come from, these 3 countries are definitely worth a visit, for its historical values or shopping excitement. Its growing speed in economy is so fast, I foresee the 3 catching up in the currency and by then,it would not be as enjoyable to be there when everything else is expensive.

Have fun!

There is no place like home. At least for a couple days so I can get some rest.

I love to travel. Part of the adventure for me is going somewhere new. I rarely go to the same place twice. I love to explore new cities and new places.

if i am on a budget and with little time, i'd choose BANGKOK. you get the best bargain (shopping), the best food (reasonably cheap even in 5-star hotels), great beaches (if that's what you want), exotic locales (culturally rich).

if i want to splurge and have the time, i'd choose LONDON to catch all those west-end shows, visit castles, parks, museums...
