Actually my parents taught me my values for the most part. And I find that the thoughtful people are in the minority on here. It's generally dumb, mean, ignorant people posting and answering questions. Just like "out there".

I am the same person wherever I go or who ever I talk to. Of course people change different attitudes in different situation. I don't talk to my friend in the same way I talk to my boss since there is a difference in the relationship I have with each of them but that doesn't mean my personality changes or I that my basic behavior will change in these two situations. For instance, if I disagree with something my friend says I'll tell him my opinion and why I have formed that opinion and I will do the same with my boss but the way I express my thoughts will change when talking to my boss since we are talking about a different kind of relationship. That doesn't mean I am a different person with each and every person, I just say the same thing in another way. If I am helpful on Yahoo!Answers I am helpful in real life as well but you are right most people show a different concept of things in the real world. I think most of the attitudes that you see here don't reflect out there because when you ask or answer a question here they talk about an ideal behavior, something that would be good if people actually listened, but when they sign out, "the out there" isn't out there anymore, they become a part of it and personal frustration, unhappiness are much closer. It's much easier to say what the right thing is than to do it.

Because words are easy to say (or type), action is difficult to do. People hide behind words and talk all the time. But once they have to decide whether to do something right or wrong in real life on the street, they usually take the easy road, which it's difficult for many to do the right thing. It takes courage.

I am the same way on here as in the "streets". There is no reason to be fake on or off the computer. Because when people meet the "real" you, they will know you are fake...
I just assume if you don't like me, then so be it, no reason to pretend to make fake friends.
