It is a feeling, helping others gives us some comfort. It is true that all are not equally blessed. God's blessings are showered upon us based on the deeds that we do to others. every thing in our life is uncertain. Even we may loose all our wealth. Having all the more money doesn't give all the comfort in you. But sharing with some one, who is really in need of it gives us the satisfaction. I think satisfaction is the most needed thing who can ever attain by money or power or any other thing.
Charity is no way related with fun, it is a matter of understanding. I hope the person who raised this question will think about charity after reading this answer. Good day!, Good Mind!, Good Life!.

Your main character and his girlfriend are going skydiving. You get into a fight and she kicks you out of the airplane. So you go freefalling and luckily you have your parachute. You somehow manage to land in a huge puddle of mud and splash a girl's dress. So being the nice person you are and since this is an attractive woman and since you no longer have a girlfriend, you decide to offer to pay. Since you were skydiving you don't have much cash on you so you happen to be near a supermarket where you have to root around in the garbage looking for recyclables.you take it to a truck where you exchange it for money and then well you do the rest.

Don't you read the news? Example, Boy George, one time Pop Star, now tabloid hero, sentenced to pick up garbage on the streets of the Big Apple. Here is a funny one - - - Adolf Hitler fails in his efforts at suicide, is captured, put on trial at Nuremberg, and sentenced to manage a Jewish Daycare - - - up to his elbows in baby ca-ca changing diapers. Any day now I expect to see Saddam Hussein picking up garbage on the streets of Baghdad. There was also a story out of Switzerland where an all boy's school did something uncool to an all girls school and in lieu of fines & punnishment the boys painted & cleaned up the girls school. Good luck.

Because this is a sign that you care for others.
It shows that others too are people like yourself and that if you have something, why don't they have it?
Think like this man!!
This is a serious matter and, sorry, cannot be funnier than this. Sorry!

I stopped to change a car tyre for a girl once: she looked pretty good when I was passing her and I thought it might be a fine way to be a Knight in shining armour/impress a vixen. Once I had a closer look I wasn't so impressed and still had to change the tyre.

sometimes people WANT to do something charitable for others. Other times, it's for some type of project, like for school, or boy scouts/girl scouts. Some do it as part of religious obligations.
