Girl I have been a hairdresser for over 25 years and you need to QUIT. If it is brittle and breaking off--one more time could be the end of your hair. You need to get your check book out and find a good hairdresser. You need some serious deep conditioning treatments and a good colorist. I am deadly serious---DO NOT TINT YOUR HAIR AGAIN. Really, don't do it. RUN to the nearest hairdresser.
