We all make judgements all the time it's part of being human , what's wrong is to make rash judgements.

Most people who say "you're being judgmental" do this because they do not have any real arguments and they want the other person to look bad.
It's like saying you're being racist or your being undemocratic and so on labeling.

The word is being mis-used. Freedom af speech is a great example. In a debate, I need to be judgemental. Yet look at Y!A. Anyone who does not think like someone else is judged. If they judge, then they are vilified.

Judgement the concept, and not the person would be a great place to start. I like good debates. Just do not call me a bad person because of my ideas.

Ummm, actually it's about 2000 years old. Read Matthew 7:1
Edit: O.K. I think I see what you are trying to say. Allow me to restate it if you will...
Observance is judgment. One can not examine something and not cast judgment on it.
However, coming to rash anything is wrong. Take the time to observe so that when you do judge something, you judge it proper.

Whats new about that? Seems to me that Christ gave several examples on this very subject. I also remember hearing something about "Judge Not Lest Ye Be Judged" ! I would take this as a stern warning from a loving Father ( God That Is ) !

Many religions espouse nonjudgementalism, actually. Christianity and Buddhism are the first two major ones that come to mind.
