I was given antihistimine and prednisone but only made it worst, much much more rashes bigger and more raised then before. trouble breathing and swallowing etc.

docs kept saying its allergy rashes but ive tried a week worth of diet that only contain veges (no other ingred added) and i still have the rash, ive tried another week with just bread and water and still have the rash.

it starts from the neck and downwards through my arms and down to my tummy and yea pretty much within half hour to hour im back to covering in rashes but its much more in the neck chest and arm area.

its usually come and go but after taking the antihistimine and prednisone, the rashes havent gone. just stayed and turned my body into a landmark of lil small red raised village.

Another thing it could be could be yeast infection. If so, the stuff they prescribed and its reaction - as well as the diets you've tried sound like it just made it worse. Check out the yeast link at www.hufa.org, for some basic information.

If the rash comes and goes.... It is URTICARIA. Urticaria or hives is a food allergy. The main allergens are soy, eggs, nuts, dairy products, shell fish including shrimps, lobsters, crabs, chick peas, food containing artificial colouring agents and preservatives. So avoid these stuff.
The main line of treatment for urticaria is antihistamines and steroids. Antihistamines are to be taken for atleast 3 - 4 weeks to control an episode and then further continue them for a long time.Steroids (short course but high doses) are given when antihistamines dont help.
What I would suggest is continue the steroids and the antihistamines you might require 2 - 3 types daily may be. Avoid the food stuff. Apply ice when the rash appears. Its known to relieve the Urticaria.
May be the dermat will change the antihistamine/ increase the dose of steroids. If there is swelling of the lips and around teh eyes... please meet the dermatologist at the earliest... This is called angioedema.... it could be an emergency if swelling reaches the windpipe.
So dont think about the money.... meet the dermatologist/ go to emergency dept if you have difficulty to breathe or swallow.
All the best.... dont worry... it would take about 4 -6 weeks to be back to normal.

Sounds to me like an allergic reaction to something, have you changed soaps, laundry powders, perfumes etc., if so, stop all soap based products and used 'tar' based products, they dont smell very nice, but hey, who cares if the problem goes away, and also ditch any item of clothing that isnt cotton, your skin likes natural fibres. Also, have you changed your diet, maybe something is different, sit down and really think about what you have changed since the rash appears, sometimes its something really silly that you wouldnt even think about but I get loads of allergies and they sound similar, except the rash as im very careful to wear cotton etc., goodluck!

You should be tested for allergies so that you can rule out what is not making you sick and concentrate in finding what is making you sick. If its not in your diet, it could be environmental from dust mites in your mattress, to the soap you are using, if you live in an area with a lot of pollution. Also use soaps and detergents that are hypoallergenic only.
