tell them that you get severe headaches around that time and that you need to eat then maybe.
lunch 1st period??? that is way too early anyway.
Tell them that you get headaches at whatever time the 2nd period is and that you need to eat then but in 1st period you are ok still from breakfast

Well, changing lunch periods could mean changing your entire schedule accoording to the office. Though, for them to say you need a good excuse might mean that you would rather have a certain class which would ultimately give you a different class period or maybe your being bullied by someone... At any rate, the office doesn't want to think that you want to change lunch periods to be with your friends, get it. I had both periods because I worked in the cafeteria. This may not be good advice, but I want to share with you...I ditched a class in order to get in my second lunch period too, to hang with my friends, which is why I graduated a year later. Any way I hope I gave you the advice you requested.

Whatever you do, don't make up an excuse. Adults that work at schools usually know when a student isn't telling the truth. Try telling them the real reason you want to switch lunch periods. It may just work. Good luck!

Becuase you are not an animal! You are a human being with inherent worth and dignity, and if you would like a 2nd lunch instead of a 1st lunch, then you should be allowed to without question or impediment.
