The last time I entered a church I was disgusted and drained from the stagnent energy build up. The thousand of tears, worries, and fake laugh put on by the masses. You want to go home because it is a safer enviroment.

Never been in New York, but I just got back from Rome & the feeling I got was that I had to stay there forever & contemplate the sheer beauty & exquisite detail of all the Masters' works...

I've experienced this in many places--cathedrals as well as ancient sites of worship; really, in any place where humans have worshipped any god for any great length of time.
It's good to know that even in a busy, distracted world, people can still sense and find the places of power.

i haven't been to Rome. i've been to some of the oldest cathedrals in Germany and Austria and new york tho. and no, i never felt like i belonged anywhere but right where i was. which is very weird since i'm not catholic or even a member of any established church.....but i still felt like my soul was expanding to infinity.

Well, if you were in New York and Rome you would already know where they are. All they are are just builidings made by men, nothing more and nothings less.

I dont think any building can contain the Lord our God, as He is much greater than that.
