I am not a Christian. I firmly decided that I was not one after I was old enough to figure out what a Christian was and start studying world religions on my own!
I also cannot participate in an exclusive religion with a jealous God who only offers salvation to those he picked after the Fall of Man, which I don't believe occurred anyway!

Nope, not me. I left the Pentecostal church many years ago (and I also attended Baptist for awhile). After many years of the hypocrisy and bigotry, backstabbing and lying (from many members, regardless of how long they had been "saved"), I decided that I was long overdue for an escape from the horror chambers.
Oh sure, the christians still try to scare me with death threats that god will strike me down, that vengeance-is-mine sort of stuff, and they love to tell me about hell -- because they are mean-spirited and get a real joy out of seeing others suffer.
I also had a great aunt who was staunch Jehovah's Witness ... so I've seen it all, I've heard it all, and none of the various churches I attended agreed with the others, and there was often constant fighting within each church.
And am I glad to be rid of them all? You betcha, Baby!

I'm not a Christian. That's objective truth. Now, I wouldn't know about the other statement. Anyway, as an unbeliever, I don't agree with your implication that all Christians are idiots.

I'm not a Christian, haven't been for 6 yrs. However, I've been intelligent for all of my life. It's not true that all Christians are idiots, only the fundie troublemakers.
