Just think about other stuff and you'll get over it naturally. I bet you'll get over it in a week, and you two will get along fine in spite of this. Good luck!

Naturally the consumption of HUGE quantities of sugar and listening to ENDLESS iPods filled with nasty hip-hop has left the average American girl with absolutely no idea how to:

GET THE HELL OVER YOURSELF!

But we aren't suggesting you are anything like that. Absolutely NOBODY I knew in the beginning of high school was ready for a "long-term" commitment -- you gotta be kidding, right?

School is hopefully at least PARTIALLY about learning, and then if you have a few dates and some fun, it just adds to it. But this whole worrying over "will-he-love-me-forever" is CLEARLY causing you to THROW yourself at him, and personally I RAN from girls like that in school, and STILL do to this day, since people like this come across as having ZERO interests other than those that would SEEM to be fulfilled by a relationship.

As soon as you have actually acquired a LIFE, this hottie boy will be meaningless memories -- nothing more, nothing less -- and then YOU can casually walk past HIM and smile in the confidence that truly you need NOTHING other than your own happiness in your OWN life, and that boyfriends and puppies and school dances and trips and fun are all just EXTRAS...

Carry on... :)

you focus on that class and not the damn boy! you're wasting your time thinking about some boy that is obviously not thinking about you. its obvious that he is sincere about hurting you but you said it yourself. he just wants to flirt with other girls. besides, neither one of you need to be in a commited relationship. the only person you need to be commited to is yourself and doing good for yourself in school.
