theism/atheism has nothing to do with the FACT of evolution.

Evolution is pretty much a self-evident scientific fact. So, you don't have believe in it, or belive in Charles Darwin (like some christians say). I don't think it discredits religion depening on how you interpret the religious sources. If you interpret Bible or Koran literally, than it certainly does discredit the credibility of those sources. If you are not the one who takes them literally, than I don't see any problem combaining religion and evolution.

P.S.: I never say that muslims are terrorists, althoug there is definetly a connection betwettn islam and terrorism, but not between terrorism and a particular muslim.

First of all most thesists do not believe in evolution. Most 'understand' it quite well. However there are some thesists that believe in it. As for the Pope, he does not.

Now as for how evolution disproves religious therory is easy. God created Adam from the dirt of the World and Eve off of Adams womb according to the Bible. Evolution states that we come from somewhere else. We evolved from a different animal into what we are today.

It can't be both. We (mankind) either evolved into what we are today or was created. If we evolved it discredits the Adam and Eve story.

on one part, faith and Evolution a 2 quite some issues, certain. There are Theist who do "trust" in Evolution, nevertheless they even trust in god, considering for them there is not any reason behind conflict there - and they are genuinely good. God only all started each and every little thing (of their perception), and Evolution did something. So those Theist are per chance more beneficial Deist. (God only all started the finished element, then lean back and watch) For Christians, who tale the bible be conscious for be conscious, they are talked about as creationist, because they trust god created each and every little thing as all of us recognize it at present only 6000 years in the past. So for them Evolution right away contradics the bible, so they couldn't approve Evolution mutually believing the earth is only 6000 years old. those hardcore Christians aka Creationist, ask many questions on Evolution, yet with the purpose to educate Evolution incorrect - which for sure, is ridiculous.

Well, even Einstein believed in God. But evolution states that organisims evolved over time over billions of years. There is no reconcilitation between this and Genesis. God plays no part in evoltion, natural selection is the agent of creation from lower life forms to higer. Consider the Wright brothers plane, and the Space Shuttle, the small upgardes along the way. Anyone who suddenly saw a 747 for the 1st time would say "There goes God!" if they did not understand the history of aerodynamics and aviation that led up to it. There are no dinosaurs in Genesis-- and none on the ark.

Evolution isn't a religious belief. So you can not believe or disbelieve in evolution. Evolution is science. So you either understand or not understand evolution.

I suspect you are asking if one must be an atheist to understand evolution. And the answer is, No. One may understand evolution regardless of his religion. Even the Pope understand evolution, and has publicly supported teaching evolution in schools.

Yes, I believe there are.

In fact, you answered your own question. Since you are Muslim, then I think that makes you a 'theist' and you believe in evolution.

To more fully answer your question, I don't see how evolution discredits all religous 'theory'. Maybe some religions are threatened by it... or some practitioners of religion. Particularly those that want to rely on faith and believe what they are told vs. what they can observe.

I'm a Muslim. A theist means one who believes in God. Being a believer in God does not mean you can't believe in evolution. I agree with you and believe in evolution. I also believe Adam and Eve were created by God as a new creation, not an animal that evolved from ape/monkey/chimp/gorilla into man. God can do anything He wants. One of His names is The Evolver.

I am glad that you like learning and knowledge!

I don't know how evolution discredits religious theory. I think it makes Christian Fundamentalists uneasy because it hints that their Bible isn't 100% literal. I suppose their religious beliefs cannot exist unless everything they were told in Sunday School is a 100% true now.

It's like that question 'which came first, the chicken or the egg?' Having faith in God is all the proof I need that the earth even exists.
I think science and evolution are fascinating subjects and I dont think God protests us keeping our minds busy.

I was raised in the UK which taught evolution in History, and taught but did not preach religion as a religious study.

The choice is given to to the individual. Many believe in both.
