some churches have gone really modern and have thrown out the baby with the bathwater. Some people dont like to go to a church that still preaches the Word of God.

I have attended black churches and let me tell you, they can sure get excited!! This is not a bad thing, they are worshipping God in their own way, and I like it. It is good to get excited in the Holy Spirit, you should try it sometime! It is a freedom like you have never felt, to be able to let go like that, and the black people have always had a way to make church an exciting place to be! Wouldn't you be a much happier person if you could experience the joy that they have? I think it is wonderful. It can be a little intimidating, but to say they are all going to hell in a handbasket is not very christian of you, and who are you to judge them?

I am not black nor Christian. I am upset with what you are saying. I think singing in church is beautiful, powerful, and intense. If that is the way certain people want to worship, let them do their thing. It's none of your business. PS They're not "crazies", they're just into their religion to a point where they are really happy and carefree. They're worshipping the same god, right, so why would you care HOW they do it? You should embrace diversity.

Call yourself a Christian?? Geez...okay!! So you say the holy church is the from the devil?? Sounds like you want the churches to be dull and dreary!! If you're happy to be a child of God, you'll sing happy lively songs to show you appreciate Him!!

Excuse me? When I was younger and attended church and youth group, they would have bands playing there all the time to appeal to the younger crowd. Kids (of all races mind you) would jump around, dance, mosh pit, etc. Even to this day churches still do that where my cousin attends, and he goes to Harvest.
Think before you speak.

Psalms 100:1-2
"Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness. Come before his presence with singing."
According to the Bible, they have the right to do that if they want to.

Because church is a celebration of Christ, where is it written what songs and or how people worship. People worship in many ways to get their message across to the lord. You sir are an intolerant bigot.

BULLSHIT! There is nothing wrong with traditional church music, ocapello [sic?] singing, or contemporary music. The Bible instructs us to "make a joyful noise unto the Lord," and says nothing positive about condemning our brethren because we do not like to listen to their music. Shame on you!

Whoops, you're racist! I'm sure Jesus would be pleased with the love you're showing towards all sorts of different groups on this site.
Plus, gospel music can be amazing: it also led to soul and rock 'n' roll. It *is* good music. Open your ears. And your mind, while you're at it.

If you knew what was going on in the churches you would be glad to attend that concert. Be careful not to judge. You need to be enlightened and awakened.
