Just because it is not physical doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. God says that he never changes and niether does his laws. A non physical eternal thing that comes from the spiritual world is math. Since God's laws do not change, that explains why 1+1 will always equal 2. If God wanted to change laws which he won't then God can make 1+1 equal 10 and still have it be right. Spiritual world I believe is the world that consist of universal concepts, and I am sure that there is more to it than that. I feel that the spiritual world is more real than the physical world we live in now. The physical world is just a reflection of the higher physical world. May God bless you all.

Because many people are prepared to believe only what they can see.

For many people, spirituality is something which isn't tangible. If you can't touch it, taste it, hear it, etc. it isn't real. Have you ever seen anything other than the physical world? Did a cloud open up in the sky and give you some revelation? You also reference God in your question. Who is to say there is a God? Many evolutionist would disagree. Who is to say Adam and Eve existed or that we evolved from monkeys. We will never know. Thats the beauty in it. We all hope when we die there is something more than the world we live in, but we won't know till our last breath has been taken.

Very easily: The spiritual World does not exist. And in quantum physics in other dimensions 2+2 doesn't = 4. I bet your name is Plato - the physical world is a reflection of the spiritual. I'm afraid that view went out of fashion a few thousand years ago.

In the spiritual world, you have to be very careful. like in the physical one. You wouldn't want to be deceived by the enemy of God and believe in unbiblical superstition. I believe the bible is clear that the soul is the entire being, breath and body combined. When seperated, it sleeps. If touched by hellfrie from heaven without God's gift of immortality, the entire being would be erased from existance. I believe eternal life can be given and taken away. Why would he have to give it to us if we already had it? Why sould we need a resurrection if we don't really die? Unfortunately, as i believe, Satan deceived many with ÿe shall not surely die". You choose to perish or have eternal life. You can't have both. Note, although your body is needed for the soul to exist, the immortality God gives can allow us to be invisible and move at faster than light speeds without getting ourselves killed. I think that the way it works is that the attoms move at a much higher frequency. This immortality was given to Enoch, Moses, and Elijah. When Jesus resurrected others also resurrected with him. The have it. They are as the angels, but aren't angels. They're glorified humans beings. It is believed by some that there are also unfallen human-like extraterrestrials. I think they're hidden in the invisible spectrum so no one can bug them.

I believe that God's laws of nature are eternal and the enemy like to play around with it. I don't believe that God can brake his law, but his mercy can provide legal loopholes. Forexample, gravity says what goes up must come down. That doesn't mean we aren't allowed to fly if we are intellegent enough to use an airplane. I wouldn't say God is supernatural as if he could brake his natural laws, but he is omnisapient and always know a way to help his creation to get out of a tough situation.

As far as current world situation is concerned, if not for the already entrenched christian beliefs (and any other religious beliefs) in our society, the probablity of people believeing in a higher being would be less than that of politicians winning an election without lies, let alone an spiritual world.

Wow. Now that is one of the most bizarre dissertations I've seen LOL

Tell me, where is the "Universal Pressure" that dictates that there must be a God for all that to still be true.

You give no credible proof that a God is required for anything you have stated.

I'll have to give you an F- on your work. Go back and figure out something that makes any sense whatsoever and come back for a re-grade. LOLFOF *-)

We worship the Lord in truth and in spirit..Yes , now for people that don't believe in The spirit world .. God gives each of is a free will to do as we so please until the end comes for that person, now then they will learn what was , is and had yet to come..

Remember always Hebrews 11:1 Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God , Faith is the substance of things hope for and the evidence of things unseen.. This makes a world of unknown to all those who got to see it to believe it.. such as Thomas did with Jesus concerning his return from the dead..

Always know that Romans 1: Says although the heathens doesn't have my written laws in their hearts their spirit(Jesus) accuse them .. I'm the voice that speaks within all men

Interesting points...

I am not sure that it would be meaningful for God to change 1+1 =2 to 1+1=10 (unless we are moving to base 2 system).

I agree with you regarding the existence of the Spiritual world.

I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).

For scientific and intellectual evidence for the existence of God, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm

Cordially,
John

People believe things at different level. Some people can't believe something unless it's right in front of them, sadly.

And by the way, 1 + 1 does equal 10 in binary =)

It can be a difficult concept to someone who overrationalises. So dont be bothered by it, there are a number of possibilities.
1. They dont want to believe, even if it seems realistic.
2. They just dont see the scientific explanation.
3. Not open-minded.
4. You havent explained it yet :), *hint

Proof is only proof in conditions we set. For example, a red door is proven to be red when we can see it. But would it be proof to a blind person? No, he needs to hear confirmation from others as prove that the door he is standing before is red. His conditions for prove are differend then for a seeing person.

Same with God. The bible, reasoning and testemonies are prove in themselves. The thing is most people dont accept it as prove by ruling out these things are prove. But when you prove napoleon to them, one lousy book is enough. All the objections about the prove of God existing are laid aside. With the same arguments they object to God, they believe the existence of historical figures for example.

Physical thinking people have set limits to themselves in which they accept prove. So your right, setting limits does not mean it does not exist. It just means they limit the possibility to know the truth in full. Yet they always argue from within there limitation (they have set for themselves) ,that God outside there limitation, does not exist because they dont see prove from within there limited view. Thats a bit weird at lease.
