You can get whatever you want, its your hair. But I suggest that before you actually do that, try and locate a wig that has dreads, and try that on. If not, then find one of the programs on the computer, or in a salon, that will let you actually take your own photo, and cut and paste different hair style on, so that you will know if you really like it.
Dreads are a big step, and very expensive to have put in. I reccomend thinking about this for a while.

Yeah, anyone can get dreadlocks. It takes some time before they look right though.

Of cause! I don't see why not. Dreadlocks is not a racial thing, anyone can have dreadlocks in spite of there race.

Yes! But you must take care of them. Very long dreadlocks are so sexy! It is my point of view. Don't listen those who don't like them! Try to avoid extensions wich are fakes.

Dreadlocks is a hair style.
There is not a hairstyle restriction based on your parents or where you were born.

Sometimes dreads are neat and sometimes plain nasty. Make sure they are parted well and rolled neatly. Wash often. You may want to speak with someone who does them professionally. I think that is why people don't look right in them....they just don't know the right techniques.

Of course you can! you can do any damn thing you want to do. If you want to grow locks- start with clean clean hair and dont brush or condition it. leave it alone and just keep it clean- it will take awhile for your hair to lock up but it will happen after ahwile (my dreads took almost 2 years to form!) and your hair will be much shorter but they will continue to grow and be gorgeous as long as you keep them clean! (mine are to my butt now!)
Ps- my friends and i agree that latino boys with dreads are extra hot and fully support this decision! YUM!

yep anyone can have dreads, just on some people it takes some work.. shouldnt be too dificult for you though. what method were you considering using to get them? how long is your hair?
