I still love my ex and he tells me he loves me. Should I let him know my feelings even if I am away at college

My ex broke up with my six months after I moved away to college because he said the long distance was too hard for him to handle and that he wanted me to have fun and meet other people in college (he is seven years older). I was heart broken and tried to ignore his calls...he called me two weeks after breaking up with me constantly b/c i didnt return his calls. Obviously he still loved me and I eventually ended up calling him because I deeply still loved and cared for him. We have remained pretty close friends..he calls me frequenlty, sends me messages, and visits me when I am in town. If he really loves me though....why did he break up with me? Are some men just that addicted to sex? HE tells me that he loves me and wants to be with me but we are both living seperate lives right now. I am so emotionally torn. . I don't want to act like I need him but whenever we talk or see each other I miss him more! Any adivce?

Man are you asking for it. If he loved you he would not have broken up with you. He would not be interested in others, as he plainly is. You want to get stuck with a guy who wants others too - well then go ahead but don't complain when, assuming you get married or whatever, you find out he's cheating because it's pretty clear that the only reason he's keeping you on the hook is because you're foolish enough to let him. If you're happy with a guy who will play this sort of games with you - give him whatever he wants and let it go at that. Otherwise, find someone who will treat you better. Get out and meet some new people. Come to San Diego.

i've been in a long distance relationship for years but it is a rational one. only an hour. we see each other may once or twice a week, cause of school ad work and such, but is the distance a reasonable one, If you feel you can trust each other while being away from each other then maybe you should, but remember alot of long distance realationship don't work then theres the age difference and the fact that your in college. can he handle that, college is wild, this is something you must talk through and lay all the cards out on the table. honesty and trust is the healthiest way to maintain a realation ship no matter the distance.

I am assuming you want the truth.....I honestly think he wanted to break up so he could sleep around and not be cheating on you. This doesn't mean that he doesn't love you. It just means that he puts his sexual needs above you. My suggestion would be to leave it as friends and that is all. You will find someone else someday.

so do not treat him badly and try to make him say to u ( back to me baby) if u can !

if u know that he won't say it cause he's a little shy so do it yourself if u love him and u want to continue !
