Interesting and good question. Yeminite Jews are not considered to be arabic Jews, but Mizrachi.
Mizrachi (hebrew "Eastern") Jews are also Jews descended from the Jewish communities of the Middle East. Included in the Mizrahi category are Jews from the Arab world, as well as other communities from other Muslim countries, including the Gruzim, Persian Jews, Bukharan Jews, Mountain Jews, Baghdadi Jews of India and Kurdish Jews.

If they speak Arabic, yes they are. "Arab" in its true meaning refers to a linguistic background. Hence terms like "Arab Israeli." Sounds like an oxymoron, but it's not!

See this link for a definition of "Arab" next to a definition of "Muslim." Notice the difference:

*adyghe1985, "Genetic study??" You can't just Google stuff without reading it yourself before posting it. That's ridiculous. It might be a legit study, but it doesn't have anything to do with this question.

*invincible, Yes they are "Mizrachi," but if their language is Arabic they can also be considered "Arab" by the true definition of the word. The reason they're not commonly referred to that way is because of the political connotations, if anything.
