You should be fine. Keep an eye out for a fever or any weird reactions that are out of the norm for you. If the bug was dead and came in the cereal, I'd contact the manufacturer and complain. That's unacceptable. If they're in your pantry, empty it out and see if they're getting in from the other side of the cabinet. If you see any cracks, gaps, etc, get some clear caulk and seal that stuff up. Also make sure your cabinets are sealing properly. You can buy this felt tape stuff to adhere to the back of the cabinet doors to make sure that nothing can get in the cabinet. I'm so sorry you had to go through that trauma! EEEP!

The first 8 answers are all correct.
BUT FYI
Did you know when they grind and make the cereal they are allowed to have bugs in it!! I don't remember the ratio but I THINK it's something like for every ton of grain they are allowed 3 pounds of bugs to be in the mix.
Doesn't that just make your mouth water? LOL
Someone feel free to correct the ratio I gave, I am only going on my memory of a news article I read years ago.
Another disgusting statistic is the average person will swallow 12 spiders in there life time. (while sleeping) EEEWWWwwwwww.......LOL

They may have already been in the box... from sitting in the store, and the cereal not being rotated properly. You will be fine. Try cleaning your cupboards with a bit of bleach, and throw out any food that you have not opened in the past 3 or 4 months. Make sure you run the air conditioner when it is hot, if not then store your flour, cereals, in the fridge.

"some kinda old cheerios"? don't eat old anything out of your pantry. Get an exterminator and eat your food right after you buy it. Clean out your pantry every once in a while.
