It could be chronic and last for years. I'm a natural night-owl. I have even more trouble with winter bc of the short daylight hours. It's a pain in the butt.

I take a Benadryl to get myself to sleep. Contact your Dr. if you have an ongoing problem.

It depends there are many different kinds of insomnia and if you are always having trouble sleeping or never feel rested go get a sleep study done.
