THE ABSOLUTE BEST CINNAMON APPLES
(This looks like a long complicated recipe, but it's really easy -
I just detailed the whole thing.Once you do it, you won't even need the recipe again.)
Core apples from the stem down, make sure not to core it all the way though to the bottom. Take out seeds, and hard core part. Peel a medium ring around the top of the cored hole to make it look good.
Place each apple in a baking dish. (glass dish for microwave).
Stuff hole with diced dried fruit (like apricots, peaches, raisins, dates) and either walnuts or pecan pieces. Pour maple syrup or honey over the fruited hole. Sprinkle lots of cinnamon over the tops of the apples.
You can dot each apple with a little butter, if you want it to be very delicious and decadent.
Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees until you can easily pierce with a fork. The apples will brown a little on top. Or you can microwave until soft and bubbly.
Everyone loves these, and it is diet friendly, vegetarian and vegan friendly, and full of fiber.
ENJOY!

ru talking baked apples, or like apple pie filling apples? Baked apples, get 1 granny smith (green apple) for each. Core the apples and maybe cut a little off the bottom to keep them from wobbling. Set the apples in a baking pan and add just a little water, maybe 1/4 inch at bottom, no more. Make a mixture of sugar and cinnamon (about 1/2 cup sugar and a tablespoon of sugar) and fill the holes in the center of the apples. Top each apple with a bit of butter and bake at 350 degrees until they are soft, about 45 minutes. You can also add a bit of sugar to the water in the pan to make them sweeter. For apple pie type apples, core and peel the apples. Slice them and toss with a bit of lemon juice, then add the sugar/cinnamon mixture and mix. Place the apples in a casserole or baking dish and , again, bake for about 1/2 hr-45 minutes.

Beat together apple juice and eggs in a medium bowl. Add the flour, oats, wheat germ, baking powder, orange peel and cinnamon. Stir until well mixed.
Lightly grease a nonstick skillet. Make as you would pancakes pouring approximately 2 tablespoons batter mixture onto hot skillet for each pancake. Flip (only once) when bubbles begin to form around edges.
