It depends on what state you live in and what there law is for it. most states have a law stating what age you can stop going to publc school.

I say finish school. It's free so take as many classes as you can. you should go to school, it's very important in life. you don't want to be flipping hamburgers for the rest of your life.

A high school diploma is OVER-RATED .You'll do just fine with a GED.I dropped out of high school when i was 16 and recieved my GED 1 month later. After that I enrolled in a Junior college and graduated with an A.S. degree in mathematics by the time i was 18,which is the time i should of finished high school.By the time my friends graduated high school,I already had a college degree.Upon completion of my A.S. and a GPA of 3.8, I transferred to The University of Southern California (usc) and by the time i was 20 yrs old graduated with a Bachelor's of Science(B.S.) in Aerospace Engineering.I went on to grad school after that and by the time I was 22 I graduated with a masters in PHYSICS. I am now 23 and I work for BOEING As a Head engineer and I'm planning on becoming a proffesor at usc next year and teach physics.I am very proud of my success and all of this started with a simple GED.

My son stop on the initiating of his senior 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. He stated quiting for decades. He theory college became stupid and a waste of time. at the same time as I did tell him that I understood how he felt and definite likely most of the flaws they were coaching him he might want to by no skill use, you won't be able to get any first rate job except you've a minimum of a HS degree. properly he stop besides and then had to take HS on-line, so I signed him up and paid the expenditures. That lasted about 2 weeks and then he stop doing the artwork. He finally were given his GED and joined the defense force. he's now 24 and regrets quiting college. BTW, he's MENSA qualified. each state has diverse regulations about at the same time as a baby can stop college. discover out what age on your state, per chance which will save her in college. each from time to time a bribe enables. yet each from time to time there is no longer something you may do. basically be her protection cyber web at the same time as issues bypass incorrect.

In Texas you can I did. I quit in tenth grade, got my GED and scored in the top ten percent of the nation.
I have since worked twenty two years being a waitress.
Dont do it. You spent all this time TEN YEARS going to school so one day you can be somebody.
If you quit now you are a dumbass even if you are smart and may be doomed to a living hell of laborer jobs.

Only if you are an IDIOT! GED is an equivalent, and indicates that you had some problems getting through the 'normal" course of things. The GED shows that you WERE an idiot, thought better of it, and fixed things.

Yes you can -- but once you pss the GED, you CANNOT go back to school. That means long days without getting to see your friends (who will be in class) and without having much in common with them. Think hard before you drop out.

yes.
keep in mind that a ged is equivalent to a high school diploma only. u'll be missing out on the experiences high school offers that give us the chance to go to a good college- ap classes, honors classes, awards, sports, clubs, drama, music, etc.
ged is not enuf to get u anywhere...it's just basic.

Ged is not as beneficial as your highschool diplonma it shows a whole bunch of character flaws... such as laziness or problematic etc... best to continue on in high school even if you are barely passing...
