Does pre-destination mean He already planned everything beforehand or He just know it all? Isn't "knowing" equivalent to "planning"? e.g: He knows that you'll be a monk at the age of 40, do you still have choice to contradict what He knows?

Knowing doesn't mean he planned it. I could "know" about a surprise party, but it doesn't mean I "planned" it.

But I personally don't believe in destiny. I think we make or own choices, and I don't see destiny or fate playing a part in our decisions.

That all depends on who or what and when. All roads lead to one place. Enjoy the scenery and the ride. Yes, it's a tough question. You have alternate realities by the choices you make. Some are made for you by the people around you to a degree wouldn't you say? There are those I had spoken to once about this and they said you should apply logic and it will help guide you. Don't you know your spirit guide? Have you ever heard voices you thought were your conscience? Do you notice certain number patterns over and over? There very well might be plans for your life like a script you can't change much. If you could see your fate like Christ did would you pray and sweat tears of blood?

Free Will.
We have Free Will, great what does that mean?
And does God know everything?

Lets look at a computer program that plays chess a simple concept but the decision trees can be massive.
Ok
After the first moves you move
The computer runs the trees and sees every possibility and its winning move, it moves.
You make a move
The computer runs the trees and sees every possibility and its winning move, it moves.
You make a move
--Continue--

With free will you have choices sometimes it is a simple choice see a movie or stay home.
God dose no know what you will chose, that’s free will.
But after you make the choice God can see where that takes you at your end.
After every choice you make God (runs program) sees your end.
The end can change, God can also place objects in your path, and the choices there can drastically change your end.

So can God see where you end up heaven or hell? YES
Can you change that outcome? YES

But remember human nature, if you are on a path, heaven or hell, you tend to stay on that path unless something some object, a block etc… by God or by Satan, may change the your path.

God knows all things for sure, however God does not always make things happen as He wants. For example; God had a specific plan to redeem mankind before He even made man. God also allows people to reject his will for them as when someone doesn't not want to accept Jesus as their Savior.

Just because you know something ahead of time does not necessarily mean that you are planning it. God predestined some people go to be saved and others to not be. The best way I have come to understand this is that "corporately" there is a general group of people who will fall into either case. The people who fall into either group "individually" have that choice to make.
Some people think that everyone's decision is made up by God but look at this verse " the Pharisees (a main Jewish religious group) and lawyers (experts on the Jewish law) rejected God's purpose for themselves..." found in Luke 7:30. See also 1 Peter 2:4-7. You can still contradict what God knows. God had planned for the Jewish people to be His witnesses to the rest of the earth but He almost totally wiped them out and was going to start with a new people raised up from Moses but Moses plead with God to not do it and God listened to him because he had favor with God.
God changed his plans because of man, on more than one occasion.

God is promoting "an ever advancing civilization" and to achieve that aim there are certain things that are predestination - things that will happen no matter what we as humanity do. However, in terms of individuals, free will rules. We all have the ability to respond to situations as we choose and we have to live with the results.

Your soul that is a part of the Creator. was given free will . If you chose to enter into life in this physical unverse . you get to chose what type of life you need to learn any lessions that the Creator or your Gardian Angel think you need to learn .These can be easy lessions for you to learn or you may have to fight your way to find the answeres to the lessions.
That is the only preordained part . What you have agreed to before you enter this life. all else is subject to change without notice. as change is the only constant in this life.

"For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first born of many brethren" ((Romans 8:29).

He does not interfer with our freedom of choice. We have the option to refuse the calling of God if we choose.

"The creature was made subject to vanity, no willingly, but by reason of him who has subjected the same in hope" (Romans 8:20).

We are given free will. Yes, God knows everything. But He also knows that it is still up to us whatever path we choose. He just knows all the ending we get ourselves into. He is waiting for us to get to that right path He wants us to take.

Of course it isn't predestined - there is an inherit unpredictability in wavefunction collapse, and then the lyapunov exponent carries it outwards until the change is large enough to change our cognition.

Therefore what we do cannot be predestined!
