Wasn't Jesus, Muhammad and Buddha all about Peace, Love, Compassion and Understanding? How can there be any room to hate anything or anyone in the hearts and minds of true believers?

Christians don't hate anybody or anything, except Sin. It is even taught to love sinners by Jesus. The difference tho between Muhammad, Buddha and Jesus, is that Muhammad and Buddha teach a religion on works, Jesus taught that he saved us, not us saving ourselves.

Hmmm...what if we hate hate?

1) Religions can discourage or prohibit hatred all they want, it is an emotion, a feeling, not a decision. One is only able to have so much control over that kind of thing. Sometimes we get angry. Sometimes we become irrational. Occasionally, hatred is the result. Ideally, it shouldn't last. But...

2) Plenty of people out there are not true believers. People hate what they feel threatened by, what makes them uncertain, what they don't understand, and what frustrates them. Much of the time, it is easier for people to find excuses to justify their hatred than to try to eliminate it.

My...alternative to religion, a logic-based belief system I developed myself, discourages hatred, and promotes understanding.

Research two points: What did the saint and father of the Church, Ambrose, write to the emperor Theodoros about the Goths and what privilege did El Cid give to the bishop Jerome at Valencia.

I think th best example of Mohammad's 'compassion' was what he did to the Jews of Medina for only disagreeing with him. As a good Muslim you are bound to to the same to us on Y!Answers, correct?

i comprehend, it really is fairly unhappy and disappointing. I consider each little thing you're saying right here except for the data that it really is regularly individuals. There are some really hardcore non secular human beings through the international. right here in united statesa. we can positioned human beings down and take care of them poorly and discriminate adversarial to them in accordance with non secular beliefs, that I thoroughly well known. even with the undeniable fact that, that is fairly uncommon and surprising for a citizen to explode a bus or spark off a highway side bomb to further our non secular beliefs. we will be a lot worse. we are an in intensity minded human beings in an excellent form of strategies even with the undeniable fact that. it really is noticeably unhappy once you imagine of the the rationalization why American even fairly got here into existence. i wager we forgot.

Don't know what you've been smoking, bud, but Jesus DEMANDS hate! There ain't no true Christians whose hearts aren't filled with hate. It's the Devil that wants you to lie down and sleep and pretend that everything all gosh-darn happy instead of fighting!

(Luke 14:26) Jesus said, "If any man come to me and hate not his father, his mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple."

Yes, we are to hate sin. Not the person who commits the sin, but the act itself. We are to hate idolatry, homosexuality, bestiality, covetousness, lies, adultery and fornication (which includes all form of pornography), drunkenness, among others.....read the Bible, it will list several things God hates and we are to hate them also----but NOT the people who commit these things! We are to love the people and teach them that these are wrong and pray that they will change their ways.
