Tried it once years ago. I gained 4 lbs. the first week. I'm a rebel, I refuse to let anyone weigh me in or tell me what to eat. I do better on my own by joining a gym! :)

The people I know who have used the program found it worked for them, however, once they finished the program most of them gained the weight back.
If I were you I'd save your money & do it the way I did.
Just cut out the fats. Dont cook with oil (try grilling or steaming instead), eat more veges rather than pastas & of course do about 20 mins of exercise a day. I lost 27kilograms in a few months doing this & I saved HEAPS because I wasnt spending money on weight loss programs or junk foods.
If you need the extra support though & truely want to use Weight Watchers, be sure to do it when you are completely ready or you will find yourself where my friends were....back to the same old weight they didnt want.
Good luck & good on you for thinking about your health, do something now (if your ready that is!) & in a few months you will feel on top of the world, leave it till next year & you will feel sluggish & will quite possibly gain more.

I lost 40 lbs about 4 years ago. Since then, I have had two children and am at the lowest weight since I was in high school... (but healthy). I owe everything to weight watchers. You will learn things that you will carry with you for the rest of your life... the meetings are totally awesome- you will be so motivated after hearing everyone else and being cheered on for every pound you lose. Also- the fact that you have to pay to have someone else see your weight at the end of each week makes you work extra hard at losing!!!
