Should peaceful Muslims begin a campaign on non-violence against terrorists to help clear the name is Islam?

Too many people now believe Islam is a violent religion. This huge lie is covering up the truth of a truly peaceful religion and people. Will non-violent protests against terrorist have a positive result in making them realize what they are doing is wrong and hurting the image of Islam? I don't think they realize that most Muslims hate what the terrorists stand for. Being a Muslim born in America, I think Islam is a wonderful way of life that brings spiritual and mental happiness and satisfaction to one's self. Too many people are clouded by the media and it's coverage of these awful terrorists.

Absolutely! I have known 3 people ( 2 of which were good friends) who were Muslim and not violent. Many Americans and other countries think negatively of Mulims because of what has been happening for quite some time now. If some Muslims were to stand up against it too, I think many people in the world would realize these are extreme people . There are extreme Christians too, like Jahovas Witnesses and "Soldier of God" (who has a messege left to your question). No matter what religion a person is, we must all remember that we judge each person individually, not on the basis of their religion.

Muslims are like other religions prohibits and hate terrorist act against innocent people, further more they are suffering more and more without resisting because terrorist were using the name of Islam to create their net work and to establish their Groups a long time ago. I hope it is not to late for concerned authorities to take an action to stop them, and to correct the media by responding to each incident (with related translation

I think If Moslem's political and economical problems solved and if they stopped talking to each others in their language about their group's or about their point of view about religion matters that every one knows about it from the book instead of united together as one team against violence and terrorist actions and to explain to others(in their language) who do not know about Islam spiritual but see terrorist act happens so they do not know except Muslim or Islamic group did. It is really important to raise this issue and involve all kind of media to solve any wrong or miss leading information about Islam. If that can happen it would be an effective campaign.

What they really need to do is get a TV channel in western world.

People have been against those acts in past and are now, the problem is the media only shows what suits the frame of their version of Islam.

History Channel (A cable TV channel in USA) was showing few documentaries that were made against Japan and it's citizens.
So it's not something new done by the western media.

On the other hand, I do understand why the media is doing what they are doing... The majority of western world is Christian and as we all can see the secular part of western world is against people like "whynotaskdon" and make them feel outdated and out casted. People like him are in deep need to find someone to rescue them from the people of secular society. Ironically enough, some Muslim nutjobs are here to save them from their misery.

I'm sorry to say that it is not just the terrorists. The problem most people have with Islam, is that they have a misguided concept of God. Allah and God are not one and the same. If that were true, you would believe that Jesus is the son of God, and That Jesus is also God's word made flesh. God is also the holy spirit. I am Christian, but not a Catholic christian, so I am aware that there are different Moslem factions, just as there are different Christian factions.
But at least all Christians believe in God.
Moslums worship allah, and allah is an idol god.
allah is the moon god. Muslims are taught that they are the same, but they are not. Mecca is the worship place for idols. You worship the black stone as a way to free yourself from sin. That's another idol. Your symbols are the moon and the star, so is witchcraft and satanists, and your holidays, depend on the lunar calendar.
This only proves that allah is a moon god.
You do not know Jesus as your Lord and savior. Your people are lost. There will be much confusion among your people because of this. To question your beliefs, is dangerous for you. But you should do the research on your own. It will literally blow your mind.

Pakistan always gives a diplomatic answer when ever it is asked about the cross borber terrorism in India. India has suffered so much. The Truth is Pakistan is a major head-quater for all the terrorists. Pakistan makes peace talks with India every time. They built a bus road and made it un-necessary for people of both sides to travell without a Visa or a Passport. And Indians are suffering in bombed busses and trains.
Your peaceful muslims do nothing except give diplomatic statements and always come to help after their violent comrades have done their homework. Just like an evil doctor who never helps preventing the disease to spread but jumps to heal the wound when everything has been destroyed. The Mughal emperor Akbar who conqured India, killed all those who opposed Mughal admintration and then after slaughtering so many he acted as the friend of Hinduism. The media always brings out the bad in Muslims, and exaggerates it. They never say anything good about Muslims, so they lead people to believe that Muslims are bad. I too, am Muslim and would like to clear up our name because we're a peaceful religion, a non violent religion.
