My hamster is making pigeon noises and is breathing so hard we can see her lungs. What do I do? What's wrong? And, while I'm asking about hamsters, why do mine constantly fight until they bleed?

I had a hamster who did that same thing and died the next day. I don't mean to scare you, but TAKE IT TO THE VET. The vet said she could've saved mine if we'd brought it in sooner.
And the fighting? Most likely they are two males, right? Two males hamsters in one cage=bad idea. Keep them in separate cages.

Don't know what's wrong with your hamster. Perhaps you should call a vet.
As far as the two hamsters fighting, this is normal. Hamsters are not social animals, and must be placed in separate cages, or they will eventually kill each other.

Put them in seperate cages and take the sick one to the vet.
