ok, i asked a question earlier about this guy i like, or love, i'm not sure. so everyone tells me to tell, to ask him if he feels the same. but it's not tht easy for me---i'm way too shy/scared to do that. i don't know how to go about this---i can't just tell him. if he doesn't then things will be awkward with us and i cant risk losing our friendship along with everything else.

So you're not sure if you like or love him, he's probably in the same state, so you really don't want to be confrontational here and make things awkward. I bet if you had some indication of how he feels, even one not nearly so complete as "Do you like me or do you love me or neither?", you'd probably feel a lot better and be able to relax. So don't jump in and tell him all about your feelings, prod him gently to get some indication of how he feels instead. It may take several tries over a week or two, but along the way it will get eaiser to handle as you get bits and pieces of information to hold you over!
