I took Latin during my four years in high school and it really developed my vocabulary. I was bamboozled by the results! haha But seriously, Latin is the first language, and it makes French, and even Spanish twice as easy to learn. Its a win/win!

I have a joke with my friend that by doing crossword puzzles, it makes me smarter =]

but yea, I guess in a sense crosswords build vocab...So does reading.. A lot...And at a higher level...

well i know that i'm in middle school and i've noticed lately that i'm using a bigger vocabulary and i thinks it's because i've heard those words before and i guess i evaluate them in my head and realize what they mean and then i use them later.

reading books, newspaper or ANYTHING lol. or just start reading the dictionary from page 1
