If I had let any of my sisters name my kids - the boys would be called Susie or Jane, and the girls would be called Hector or George.

Both of you should look to your family history. And pick some solid names out of your family heritage. Or do a search on http://www.babynames.com
if you do a google search for baby names, there's tons of websites out there to help. Don't get advice from complete strangers out here to name a baby - if my sister did that, I'd kick her butt for that too.

What about family names grandparents, great-grandparents of both mother and father.
I was named after my grandmothers, First name is my dad's mother's name and middle is my mom's mother's name.
