I think that's a great attitude, congratulations. =)
I love Pilates. It really helps tone your muscles and all that, loses the jiggle or whatever. 20 minutes a day works for me, although I'm pretty bony to begin with.
Yoga too, but that's a little too intense for my taste.
And then there are all these gym things to look out for, recreational sports programs.. you can try hiking or mountain climbing if you get really into it. For a day-to-day basis thing, try walking or biking instead of taking a car or cab, stairs instead of the escalator, healthy little jogs and other things to get your body moving.

Get into a routine at a gym, if available, or use the school facilities.
Toning is a matter of less weight and more reps, basically that will bring definition to the muscles.
Always evaluate your diet. If you eat chicken, choose skinless chicken - that sort of thing, you don't have to cut out all the goodies, but look at what you eat and see how it can be trimmed.
Instead of 8 oreos and a glass of whole milk, I have two and a glass of 1%
real simple stuff, ask one of the coaches at school they really should be able to help out.

You're a good weight for your height. I'm so glad you didn't say you wanted to lose weight.
Try any physical activity that you enjoy that increases your heart rate - usually called cardio. Jogging, cycling, roller blading, even swimming if you do laps.
Do cardio for at least 30 mins per day 4 - 5 times per week. This will improve your overall health and fitness, as well as, tone and strengthen your muscles.

actually the best workout to get shaped is doing house works (cleaning etc) it's proved that house works uses almost all your muscle (breast, arms, legs, and abs). here's some example:
Ironing: works your breast, arms, and shoulder
Mopping floor: works your shoulder, back, and arms
do houseworks and forget about fitness centre/gym. its free

any routine you install in your life,is good exercise..:-)
and it already seems you exercise already daily,in a variety of movements, that is good thing.
you want to be faster, faster what, running for the football..?
or faster driving your bycicle..? you are little vague here..
inproving your shape, will result in being faster,stronger..
in our club we have the rule of..,take the avarage weight you should be according to your lenght..,minus 10 kilo, thats about 22 pounds..,for maximum speed, and add 22 pounds for maximum power..,but be aware that if you dont get to underweight,either..if you try to use this trick.
i suggest you train and develop,in groups..musclegroups..,
like for example..,one week you run more, another week you drive more on your bicycle..,swimming verry good too..:-),for overall inprovement..,training you can devide in groups too..
for example..,one day i train on my bicycle,like for 50 miles,high peddle frequency,low gear,avarage speed..,another day 70 miles,low peddle,high gear,high speed..,so in the example,one day i train my stamina,the other day i train for power and strenght..
some days,i go like warm up,full speed, slow, full speed,slow..,standing on peddles while peddling also verry good..:-) training..overall..
improvement measurements can be done as following..
take a piece of road for about,..3.75 miles..,you can either run it,or drive it..,give it all u got..,time yourself..,u can check yourself any time you like,..i check myself like every two months..to give you an idea..:-)
anyway dont overlook yourself on your weight..,a mucle weights more than the same amount of fat,you burned while creating muscles..
enjoy you work out..:-)
